A typical Pickwick Lake home cleaning visit covers: soft wash siding, roof streak treatment, lake-side deck cleaning, driveway and walkway, dock and boat lift, and often pontoon tube cleaning. Most full-property visits we knock out in a single day for a single-story; multi-day for larger homes.
The Lake-Home Difference
- Year-round humidity — algae and mildew grow faster here than in inland properties
- Shaded north sides — most lake lots have heavy tree cover for shade; the shaded sides need more attention
- Waterline scum — everything within a foot of the water grows a film constantly
- Bird droppings — lake birds use docks and rails as perches
- Spider/wasp nests — under eaves and around outdoor lights, more than inland properties
- Pollen — spring oak and pine pollen coats everything yellow
Absentee & Second-Home Owners
Many Pickwick Lake homes are second homes — owners live in Memphis, Nashville, Birmingham, or further. We work with that. Schedule with us by phone or email, point us to the gate code and outdoor faucet, and we'll send before-and-after photos. Payment by card after completion. No need to drive down for the cleaning.
Annual & Seasonal Schedules
Most Pickwick Lake customers settle into one of these rhythms:
- Spring open-the-cabin clean (April/May) — full property reset for the boating season
- Late-summer refresh (August) — dock, deck, and pontoon tubes after a hot July of family use
- Annual single-visit — for less-used properties, once a year in spring
Where We Cover
Pickwick Lake itself + the towns and communities around it: Counce, Pickwick Dam, Savannah, Crump, Iuka MS, and the broader Hardin County shoreline.
